Eric Klasson - President and CEO
Eric Klasson is the President & CEO of CrystaTech. He is responsible for business development, new product development, equity and debt financings, corporate partnerships, and directing the company's financial growth and success. Eric has over twenty years working for Fortune 500 companies in senior finance, business development and executive positions, including, CFO, COO, President, and CEO. Eric began his career in the Business Workout practice of Price Waterhouse in Houston, working on turnarounds for energy companies and financial institutions. Eric's technical expertise includes the mergers and acquisitions and business development functions. He has completed two IPOs and directed several business startups while at PepsiCo, FoxMeyer, and the Albert Fisher Group. Eric holds an MBA from Texas A&M University, a Bachelor's in Economics from the University of Michigan.
David Seeger - Chief Technology Officer
Dr. David Seeger is the Chief Technology Officer of CrystaTech. Dr. Seeger is responsible for new technology development, product process improvement, technology development partnerships, and managing the company’s portfolio of intellectual property assets. Dr. Seeger led the development of the CrystaSulf process at Radian International from bench scale testing through commercial deployment at the Oxy Permian DUCRP plant in West Texas. Prior to his leadership with the CrystaSulf development effort, he managed the Electric Power Research Institute’s High Sulfur Test Center where, in addition to the lab, he managed various projects for mercury detection and control in power plant flue gas. Throughout his career, Dr. Seeger has been responsible for technology development, analytical methods development, laboratory management, data analysis, project chemistry, and client management on all projects. Dr. Seeger has a M.S. in Chemistry and a Ph.D. in Analytical and Physical Chemistry from the University of Michigan. Dr. Seeger’s entire career has focused on working with energy companies to develop environmentally focused products and improving air quality.
Bryan Petrinec - V.P. Engineering
Bryan Petrinec is the Vice President of Engineering at CrystaTech. Mr. Petrinec is responsible for all aspects of engineering, process design, project management, fabrication oversight, installation, startup, and operator training for the CrystaSulf process. Mr. Petrinec provides process optimization, process improvements, and troubleshooting support for all operating plants. Bryan has worked extensively on the installation, start-up, and operation of several sulfur removal and recovery technologies. His multiple areas of expertise, including process plant start-up management, plant operations, maintenance management, and control systems, make Bryan an integral part of successful plant startups and on-going client support. Mr. Petrinec has a B.S. in Chemistry from the University of Illinois.
