Gas Technology Institute (GTI)

CrystaTech performs all of its early stage technology development and pilot plant testing a GTI’s eighteen acre Research and Development Center in Des Plaines, IL. GTI is a non-profit founded to advance the development and deployment of natural gas technologies and services in the energy sector. GTI is the largest natural gas research facility in the United States. GTI has filed for 1,000 patents and has developed over 400 new technologies.

CrystaTech’s R&D Team has had a close working relationship with GTI since 1985. Jointly, CrystaTech and GTI have tested and evaluated H₂S removal technologies, other process technologies, and developed and commercialized new technologies, primarily in the area of gas processing.
